PROFESSIONAL MASSAGE TRAINING CENTER BRINGS INDIA AND AYURVEDIC MASSAGE TO THE OZARKS - SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (November 10, 2009)

Professional Massage Training Center (PMTC), one of the country’s premier massage therapy schools, is hosting Dr. P.N. Hari, deputy director of the Arsha Yoga Peetam Trust in Coimbatore India this week for its Ayurvedic Therapy Professional Development Series.

Dr. Hari, is an international ayurveda instructor for the last 16 years and is teaching PMTC’s 40-hour professional development seminar from November 30-December 4. Therapists will learn to perform 12 different authentic ayurvedic treatments during the seminar with authentic oils, herbs and equipment imported directly from India.

PMTC will also host the Ayurvedic Treatment for Health and Wellbeing two-hour seminar on Tuesday, December 1, from 7:00pm-9:00pm at the school’s Commercial Street location. The seminar, taught by Dr. Hari, will provide an introduction to ayurvedic therapies and their potential health benefits. The seminar is open to the public, and persons interested in attending can register for $25.00 online through the PMTC website, www.pmtc.edu.

Ayurveda is an ancient Indian health and wellness regimen that dates back over 5,000 years and incorporates many different forms of massage therapy, aromatherapy and herbal therapy.

Professional Massage Training Center was founded in 1994 by Director and Owner, Juliet Mee. Located at 229 East Commercial Street in Springfield, MO, the school offers two, 900-hour, massage therapy training programs approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
